Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY-17) voted for budgets in 2025 that cut Medicaid and raised the cost of healthcare for millions of Americans, while saying US taxpayer funding for Israel should be “unconditional” and voted for over $18 billion in weapons to Israel in 2024.

Lawler, whose top campaign donor over his career is AIPAC, has repeatedly prioritized Israeli interests over American interests. He is the lead sponsor of legislation that would threaten Americans who boycott for Palestinian rights with up to 20 years of jail time and up to $1 million in fines.
