Student Letters: These letters criticized the Trump administration’s crackdown on free speech in support of Palestinian rights and the targeting and unconstitutional detention of noncitizen students who support Palestinian rights. Senators received a positive score if they signed on to at least one of the following letters in support of Mahmoud Khalil (led by Sen. Peter Welch) and Rümeysa Öztürk (led by Sen. Elizabeth Warren and others).
S.Res.68: This resolution opposes the deployment of the US military to take over Gaza in response to President Trump’s proposal for the ethnic cleansing and US military occupation of the area. Senators received a positive score if they cosponsored this resolution.
